Podcast: How to Unite across Geography

On the Shifting Terrain podcast, Executive Director Sarah Jaynes joined Bonnie Dobson from Down Home North Carolina to share insight into long-term organizing with working class voters. Jaynes highlighted the practical concerns that dominate voting behavior among these voters.

"They're listening for: is this person like me? Is this person going to care about people like me?" Jaynes explained. "And they're listening for those cultural cues."

Jaynes also shed light on the overlooked realities of working class people across geographies, including our shared economic priorities and the growing racial diversity of rural America.
